Access Device Fraud Warrant, December 28, 2022, 700 block of Becker Rd (MT) – Anthony Leon Miller, M/30 of Miami, FL was charged with the above offense following a report of fraud. The victim received a bill in the mail for “Brab Klaepaurski” for $94.86. Also, the victim’s bank statement for a credit card showed fraudulent charges for video calls. The victim provided copies of the bill he received and the credit card statement to the police. The police found that the calls originated from the Forsythe County Sheriff’s Correctional Institution in Georgia. This institution was contacted and they were able to track the prison calls and the inmate that made the calls. They provided an email that contained 2 recorded video calls from the inmate. The video call is very difficult to hear but the inmate calls the male Anthony in the call. Anthony Leon Miller was identified, based on the comparison of his photograph and the video of the person speaking to the inmate. The credit card charges were for a hotel room and video calls. Total loss $838.54.
A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant was obtained. Anthony Leon Miller remains a wanted person at this time.
