MTPD COMPETES IN SECOND ANNUAL BLOOD DRIVE - HELP US WIN AGAIN!
HELP TEAM MANHEIM TOWNSHIP WIN THE BLOOD DRIVE!
Officers from Columbia Borough, East Hempfield Township, East Lampeter Township, Lancaster City, Manheim Township, Millersville Borough, Millersville University, and the Pennsylvania State Police are once again competing in a bleed blue law enforcement blood drive from now until January 31, 2020. We are asking all persons, who are eligible and able, to donate blood for this event. You do not need to be a police officer or family member to participate - this is for everyone!
The Manheim Township Police Department will be a host site for donating blood this coming Thursday, January 9th, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Donors should report to the police station at 1825 Municipal Drive Lancaster, PA 17601.
Donors who cannot make it to the police station on January 9th can report directly to the Blood Donation Center at 2104 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 anytime between now and the end of the month.
When you donate, please tell them that you are supporting Team Manheim Township so they can properly track how much blood each agency collected.
Each week an update will be released showing how much blood each department has collected.
At the end of the competition, the final totals will be announced and a winner declared. The winner will be awarded the wooden law enforcement flag plaque shown to the left, to display in their police station for one year.
We look forward to making this competition a success! GO TEAM MANHEIM TOWNSHIP!
