OREGON DAIRY'S 1ST ANNUAL EMERGENCY SERVICES OLYMPICS AT THE CORN MAZE AND PUMPKIN PATCH!
On Saturday, October 20th, 2019, Oregon Dairy hosted a "Touch a Truck" event that featured Good's Disposal Service, Martin Paving, Wayne's Towing & Recovery, Manheim Township Fire Rescue, Manheim Township Police Department, and the Manheim Township Ambulance Association. At 3:00 p.m., first responders from the fire department and the police department participated in a friendly competition at Oregon Dairy's 1st annual Emergency Services Olympics. Each department provided a three-person team to compete in five (5) events: Blindfolded Skid Maze Challenge, Punkin' Chuck'r, Pedal Tractor Races, Giant Jenga® and Corn Launcher. At the conclusion of the event, Manheim Township Fire Rescue was declared the winner as they scored the most points during all of the events. Be sure to check out the pictures and movies taken during the event!
Additionally, the Ambulance Association, Police Department and Fire Department are currently competing in a pumpkin carving contest to raise money for the Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation. Voting is by donation and this coming weekend is the last weekend to vote for your favorite and raise money for a fantastic organization! Visit Oregon Dairy's Facebook page for more information!
