Don't Be a Puffer! Prevent Your Car From Being Stolen This Winter!

Leaving your car running, unlocked, and unattended (puffing) makes it vulnerable to theft and is illegal in some Pennsylvania municipalities, including Lancaster Township.  The good news is puffer theft is easy to prevent!  At the mini-mart, liquor store, or in your driveway — say no to puffing.

An opportunistic thief needs only seconds to steal your car.

Nearly 13,000 cars were stolen in Pennsylvania last year.  Many were puffers: cars left running, unlocked, and unattended. These drivers could have avoided the headache and expense of a stolen vehicle by simply locking their car and taking their keys.  Don’t be a victim of auto theft. Lock your car, take your keys, every time.

Thank you to the Pennsylvania Auto Theft Prevention Authority for this great info!
