ARRESTS

1.  Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest, 11:04 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2019, Route 30 East at New Holland Pike (MT) – Elijsha Amari Sanchez, F/19, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop for speeding.  Officers searched Sanchez’s vehicle which yielded marijuana, a metal marijuana grinder, and a cigar cutter.  A criminal complaint was filed.

2.  Harassment Arrest, 2:04 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2019, 600 block South West End Avenue (LT) – Charlene Mae Stewart, F/54, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after she pushed another person during an argument.  A citation was filed.

3.  Dog Law Violation Arrest, 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019, 1400 block Meadowbrook Road (LT) – Joan M. Galloway, F/68, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after she permitted her dog to leave her property and attack another dog, which caused injury to the other dog.  A citation was filed.

4.  DUI Arrest, 5:17 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2019, Route 30 West at Harrisburg Pike (MT) – Chad Douglas Wolf, M/47, of Millersville, PA, was charged with the above offense following a crash investigation.  Wolf was identified as a driver in that crash and exhibited signs of impairment.  Wolf also admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.  Wolf was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.14%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

5.  DUI Arrest, 12:35 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2019, Lititz Pike at Chester Road (MT) – Joshua M. Sadd, M/37, of Manheim, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for an illegal turn.  Sadd exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested.  Chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.160%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

6.  Ignition Interlock Arrest, 11:04 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2019, Route 30 East at New Holland Pike (MT) – Denisse B. Ortiz, F/36, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for speeding.  The officer discovered that Ortiz did not have an ignition interlock device installed in her vehicle as required for her to lawfully drive a vehicle.  She was arrested, processed, and released.  A criminal complaint was filed.

7.  DUI Arrest, 5:27 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Race Avenue at Harrisburg Pike (MT) – Brian D. Gantz, M/51, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a crash investigation.  Gantz was identified as a driver in that crash and exhibited signs of impairment.  Gantz was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.182%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

8.  Criminal Trespass Arrest, 5:22 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2019, 1000 block Lititz Avenue (MT) – Jordan Scott Richardson, M/23, of New Holland, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was found inside a residence where he had previously been given an order of no trespass.  The property was also posted with “no trespassing” signs.  Richardson was arrested, processed, and released.  A criminal complaint was filed.

CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Traffic Enforcement Detail, 2:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2019 (MT) – Officers performed a selective traffic enforcement detail in Manheim Township as part of the PA Aggressive Driving Campaign.  Officers targeted locations which statistically experience a high volume of crashes.  During this detail, thirty-five (35) motorists were stopped resulting in twenty (20) citations and twenty-eight (28) written warnings being issued.  Violations targeted aggressive driving to include red-light violations, yielding violations, speeding, and other unsafe driving movements.

2.  Theft By Deception, August 2018 to April 2019, Terrace Drive (MT) – The victim reported that he had been sending monthly payments of $1,000.00 to individuals he believed were associated with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The victim later determined that this was a scam.  Total loss: $25,000.00 to $30,000.00.

3.  Theft Of Motor Vehicle Parts and Accessories, November 2018 to April 6, 2019, 1400 block Center Road (LT) – Unknown person/s stole a registration plate from a trailer parked at a residence.  Total loss: $11.00.

4.  Harassment, April 2019, 600 block East Roseville Road (MT) – Unknown person/s taped vulgar notes to the victim’s front door on three (3) different occasions.

5.  Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property, 11:00 a.m., Sunday, April 7, 2019, 222 Eden Road – Eden Resort Inn (MT) – A patron of the hotel accidentally left a diamond necklace behind in their room after they checked out.  Once discovered, the room was checked and the necklace was gone.  Total loss: $3,000.00.
