1. Strangulation / Simple Assault / Endangering Welfare of Children Arrest, 8:00-11:00 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2019, 600 block Wyncroft Lane (LT) – Renette Compere, F/32, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a domestic dispute at her residence. During the altercation, Compere slapped her 13-year-old child across the face, which caused the child to go into the wall. Compere then placed her hands around the neck of the child and squeezed to the point that the child was unable to breathe for five (5) seconds. The child reported that they felt like they were going to pass out. The child had to scream for other family members to come to their aid. Compere was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.
2. Burglary / Theft / Theft From Motor Vehicle Arrest, February 18-19, 2019, 1060 Manheim Pike – Lancaster Oil Company / ERC (MT) – Dustin William Giberson, M/37, of New Providence, PA, was charged with the above offenses after he unlawfully entered this business and stole a chainsaw, valued at $200.00. While at the business, Giberson also entered a vehicle parked outside, and stole a pair of sunglasses valued at $600.00. A criminal complaint was filed as Giberson was already incarcerated in Lancaster County Prison on unrelated charges.
CRIMES & INCIDENTS
1. Theft From Motor Vehicle, 12:20 a.m., Sunday, March 3, 2019, 1000 block Clark Street (LT) – Five (5) unknown person/s were walking in this area when one (1) of them opened an unlocked vehicle and moved items around inside. Nothing taken.
