1. Possession of Heroin / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Public Drunkenness Arrest, 6:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2020, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – Brandon A. Porter, M/28, of Reading, PA, was charged with the above offenses after an officer on foot patrol inside the store observed him fidgeting and speaking with slurred speech. Porter admitted to using methamphetamine and was taken into physical custody. During a search incident to arrest, he was found in possession of three (3) wax baggies containing heroin. He was also found in possession of fourteen (14) empty wax baggies that contained traces of heroin. Officers learned that Porter had an active warrant out for his arrest and he was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff. A criminal complaint was filed for the above offenses.
2. Retail Theft Arrest, 3:15 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2020, 2000 Crossings Boulevard – Wegman’s (MT) – Jake Thomas Hogan, M/22, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $254.77 worth of merchandise from the store. A criminal complaint was filed.
3. Retail Theft Arrest, 1:18 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2020, 1204 Millersville Pike – Weis Markets (LT) – Bereket Berhe, M/39, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $71.65 worth of merchandise from the store. A citation was filed.
1. Access Device Fraud, 2:17 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2020, 300 block Ecker Drive (MT) – Unknown person/s used the victims credit card to make a series of fraudulent purchases totaling $109.96.
