ARRESTS

1.  Harassment / Criminal Mischief Arrest, 5:21 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019, 1600 block Santa Barbara Drive (MT) – John D. Barber, M/24, of Lewisberry, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a domestic dispute.  During the altercation, Barber grabbed the victim, pushed the victim, and knocked the victim’s phone from their hand.  The phone fell to the pavement, causing the cover and screen protector to crack.  Total loss: $60.00.  Two (2) citations were filed.

2.  Disorderly Conduct Arrest, 3:38 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019, 1408 Lititz Pike – Burger King (MT) – Laquann Amir Cody, M/22, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he jumped over the counter of the business during an argument.  A citation was filed.

3.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 12:46 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2019, 1246 Millersville Pike – Regal Cinema (LT) – Juan E. Velazquez, M/47, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed heavily intoxicated inside the movie theatre.  Velazquez created a disturbance which caused the movie to be stopped and him removed from the theatre.  A citation was issued.

4.  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest, 11:28 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2019, 1136 Harrisburg Pike – Sunoco (MT) – Matthew A. Montalto, M/42, of Carlisle, PA, was charged with the above offense following a disturbance in the parking lot of the business.  Montalto was observed pacing back and forth, twitching, and acting erratic.  Officers located Montalto and asked to search his person; he consented.  Officers located a smoking device which contained THC oil.  A criminal complaint was filed.

5.  Criminal Trespass Arrest, 1:22 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019, 200 block Old Delp Road (MT) – Antonio D. Perez, M/44, of York, PA, was charged with the above offense after he entered a residence after being previously ordered to avoid the property.  A citation was filed.

6.  Possession of Heroin / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Public Drunkenness Arrest, 8:59 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019, 1600 block Oregon Pike (MT) – Lundy M. Perry, M/28, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a drug overdose.  Officers found Perry in possession of four (4) glassine baggies containing heroin, a spoon, a lighter, and two (2) hypodermic needles.  A criminal complaint was filed.

7.  Harassment Arrest, 10:53 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019, 3000 block Aster Lane (MT) – Carlos Morales, Jr., M/24, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a domestic dispute.  During the altercation, Morales, Jr. slapped the victim on the side of their face.  A citation was filed.

8.  Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Criminal Mischief Arrest, 9:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2019, 600 block Janet Avenue (MT) – Marcello Luis Torres-Borges, M/21, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a warrant execution at his residence.  Torres-Borges had an active warrant out for his arrest and officers attempted to serve that warrant.  Torres-Borges fled from the residence and was captured shortly thereafter without incident.  During Torres-Borges’ flight through a neighboring yard, he damaged a potted plant valued at $50.00.  During a search incident to arrest, officers found Torres-Borges in possession of marijuana, a small plastic baggie containing marijuana, and a marijuana grinder.  Torres-Borges was taken to Lancaster County Prison for the warrant and a criminal complaint was filed for the above offenses.

9.  Public Drunkenness / Scattering Rubbish (Littering) Arrest, 12:27 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2019, 1400 block Columbia Avenue (LT) – Douglas Alan Givler, M/52, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses after he was observed heavily under the influence of alcohol to the degree that he needed medical attention.  Officers also found that Givler had scattered numerous empty beer cans all over the ground and refused to pick them up.  Two (2) citations were filed.

10.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 10:05 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2019, Atkins Avenue at Davis Drive (MT) – Ryan T. O’Hara, M/42, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stumbling into the travel lanes at the intersection.  O’Hara also attempted to run when police tried to speak with him.  A citation was issued.

11.  DUI Arrest, 1:02 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2019, North Duke Street at McGovern Avenue (MT) – Josue Crespo, M/59, of Butler, PA, was charged with the above offense following a crash investigation.  Crespo was identified as a driver in that crash and exhibited signs of impairment.  Crespo was taken to an area hospital for treatment.  Chemical testing of his blood yielded a BAC of 0.300%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

12.  Burglary / Theft Arrest, 10:46 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2019, 1631 Manheim Pike – Great Clips (MT) – Douglas G. Beach, Jr., M/28, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses after he was observed breaking into the business during overnight hours and stealing $1,129.17 worth of money.  A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant obtained for Beach, Jr.  Officers located Beach, Jr. and took him into custody without incident.  He was taken to Central Arraignment.

13.  Indirect Criminal Contempt (Protection From Abuse Order Violation), 1:09 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019, 100 block Elmshire Drive (LT) – Christopher E. Good, M/45, of Denver, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed upon the property of a protected person.  Good was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.

14.  Retail Theft Arrest, 12:06 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2019, 1605 Lititz Pike – Giant Food Store (MT) – Brenda J. Newton, F/58, of Gap, PA, was charged with the above offense after she was observed stealing $89.00 worth of merchandise from the store.  She was arrested, processed, and released from custody.  A criminal complaint was filed.

15.  Endangering Welfare of Children / DUI Arrest, 9:36 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019, 1300 block Columbia Avenue (LT) – Emanuel Petrilli, M/28, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a crash investigation.  Petrilli was identified as a driver in that crash, who had a 3-month-old passenger inside his vehicle at the time of the crash.  Immediately after impact, Petrilli handed the child to a person unknown to him and he walked away, going into a nearby restaurant where officers later located him.  Petrilli exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to being a user of methadone.  A Drug Recognition Expert evaluated Petrilli and it was his professional opinion that Petrilli was under the influence of drugs to the degree that he was impaired.  Petrilli refused chemical testing.  He was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.

16.  Retail Theft Arrest, 10:43 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 1262 Lititz Pike – Walgreen’s Pharmacy (MT) – Thomas Christopher Fortis, M/36, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $108.00 worth of merchandise.  A criminal complaint was filed as Fortis is already incarcerated in Lancaster County Prison on unrelated charges.


CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, August 1 to 3, 2019, 1100 block Jamaica Road (LT) – Unknown person/s entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $5.00 in loose change.

2.  Burglary, 9:00 a.m. to 5:11 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019, 100 block Canterbury Turn (MT) – Unknown person/s smashed the rear sliding glass door of a residence and gained entry.  Once inside they located and stole $21,000.00 in cash.  Investigation continues.

3.  Burglary, 3:04 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019, 1953 Fruitville Pike – Perfect Image Camera (MT) – An unknown suspect smashed the front door of the business and gained entry.  Once inside the suspect stole $20,000.00 worth of camera equipment and fled.  Investigation continues.

4.  Vehicle Theft, August 2 to 3, 2019, 1400 block Westview Drive (MT) – Unknown person/s stole a white 2016 Mazda as it sat parked overnight.  Total loss: $12,400.00.  Investigation continues.

5.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, 3:00 to 5:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019, 1400 block Passey Lane (LT) – Unknown person/s entered a vehicle which sat parked overnight and stole one (1) set of Apple Airpods and cash.  Total loss: $280.00.

6.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, August 2 to 3, 2019, 100 block Nassau Road (LT) – Unknown person/s entered a vehicle as it sat parked overnight and stole a Kel-Tec 9mm pistol and a vaporizing module.  Total loss: $700.00.

7.  Propulsion of Missiles, 4:40 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2019, Route 283 East at Manheim Pike (MT) – An unknown black female riding as a passenger inside a moving vehicle, threw a water bottle at another moving vehicle following a ‘road rage’ incident.  The bottle struck the victim’s vehicle and left damage.  The suspect fled.
