1. Public Drunkenness Arrest, 8:58 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2018, 900 block East King Street (LT) – Janice K. Shupp, F/59, of Middletown, PA, was charged with the above offense after she was observed screaming profanities and causing a disturbance. Shupp was intoxicated at the time. A citation was filed.
2. Identity Theft Arrests, November 9-29, 2017, 100 block Waverly Avenue (MT) – Michael David Darin, Jr., M/42, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with two (2) counts of the above offense after he opened two (2) credit accounts using the identifying information of another person. The first account opened on November 9, 2017 was used to make $1,319.70 worth of charges. The second account opened on November 29, 2017 was used to make $721.95 worth of charges. A criminal complaint was filed.
CRIMES & INCIDENTS
1. Criminal Mischief, 1:30 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2018, 1900 block Sterling Place (MT) – Unknown person/s struck a mailbox with a hard object causing damage to the box and the post. A vehicle parked in the driveway was also struck with a hard object breaking the rear window, wiper assembly, and metal hatch panel. Total loss: $1,500.00.
2. Burglary, October 5-7, 2018, 1800 block Sturbridge Drive (MT) – Unknown person/s entered a residence and stole $1,100.00 in cash from a desk drawer. Investigation continues.
