ARRESTS

1.  Alcohol / Park Violation Arrests, 8:46 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2019, 1420 Columbia Avenue – Maple Grove Park (LT) – Gran Kahn Abdul Rashid, M/22, Milan Tamang, M/20, and Sajan Gurung, all of Lancaster, PA, were observed inside the park after hours slurring their speech and exhibiting a lack of coordination and balance.  They also had an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from their breath.  A citation for Public Drunkenness was filed against Rashid; he was warned for the park hours violation.  A citation for Underage Drinking and the park hours violation was filed against Tamang, as he had previously been warned for being in the park after hours.  A citation for Underage Drinking was filed against Gurung; he was warned for the park hours violation.

2.  Retail Theft Arrest, 11:37 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019, 880 Plaza Boulevard – Ollie’s Bargain Outlet (MT) – Elaisha M. Muniz, F/18, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after she was observed stealing $5.00 worth of merchandise from the store.  A citation was filed.

3.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 4:30 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019, Millersville Pike at Schoolhouse Road (LT) – Dennis E. Jackson, M/39, homeless, was charged with the above offense after he was found lying down in the grass near the intersection.  Jackson had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and had slurred speech.  A citation was issued.

4.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 5:05 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2019, Abbeyville Road at Westview Drive (LT) – Jonathan E. Bowalick, M/35, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he stumbling into traffic, exhibiting a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage, and slurring his speech.  A citation was issued.

5.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 3:03 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019, 1278 Millersville Pike – CVS Pharmacy (LT) – Curtis Nevada James Hunt, M/37, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed unconscious inside the store.  Hunt was unable to walk or stand safely and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.  A citation was filed.

6.  Retail Theft Arrests, May 11 to July 8, 2019, 880 Plaza Boulevard – Ollies Bargain Outlet (MT) – Maria V. Torrellas, F/32, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with four (4) counts of Retail Theft following an investigation into employee theft surrounding numerous cases of shoplifting.  Torrellas, an employee of the store at the time, either stole or aided others in stealing merchandise.
- At 11:37 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019, Torrellas was observed stealing $58.00 worth of merchandise, and fled from the store.
- At 2:05 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2019, Torrellas was observed stealing $32.99 worth of merchandise, and fled from the store.
- At 2:05 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2019, Torrellas was observed aiding another person (Santos listed below) with stealing $149.99 worth of merchandise.
- At 12:20 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019, Torrellas was observed stealing $299.99 worth of merchandise, and fled from the store.
A criminal complaint was filed.

7.  Retail Theft Arrests, June 24 to July 8, 2019, 880 Plaza Boulevard – Ollies Bargain Outlet (MT) – Eddie Luis Santos, M/28, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with three (3) counts of Retail Theft following an investigation into employee theft surrounding numerous cases of shoplifting.  Santos, an employee of the store at the time, either stole or aided others in stealing merchandise.
- At 2:05 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2019, Santos was observed aiding another person (Torrellas listed above) with stealing $32.99 worth of merchandise.
- At 2:05 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2019, Santos was observed stealing $149.99 worth of merchandise, and fled from the store.
- At 12:20 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019, Santos was observed aiding another person (Torrellas listed above) with stealing $299.99 worth of merchandise.
A criminal complaint was filed.


CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Retail Theft, 12:30 to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2019, 900 block East Orange Street (LT) – An unknown juvenile, suspected of walking home from school, threw a rock at a sliding glass door of a residence, which smashed it.  Total loss: $500.00.

2.  Criminal Mischief, 3:50 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2019, 500 block Twinleaf Green (MT) – Unknown person/s smashed the rear bedroom window of a residence.  Total loss: $120.00.
