1.  Harassment Arrest, 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018, 1000 block North Plum Street (MT) – Craig Steven Kautz, M/27, of East Petersburg, PA, was charged with the above offense after he hugged and kissed another person without consent.  A citation was filed.

2.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 2:22 p.m., Sunday, August 5, 2018, 700 block Sterling Place (LT) – Oscar Gilot, M/36, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed near a playground staggering around, and later chasing and scaring children away.  While interacting with officers they noted Gilot having pinpoint pupils and slurred speech.  A citation was filed.

3.  Theft By Unlawful Taking Arrest, August 3-4, 2018, 1000 block Olympia Street (MT) – Benjamin A. Miller, M/45, of Lititz, PA, was charged with the above offense after he stole four (4) paintings valued at $3,000.00 from a residence where he was staying.  Miller did not own the paintings and did not have permission to remove them.  A criminal complaint was filed.

4.  Indirect Criminal Contempt (Protection From Abuse Order Violation) Arrest, 3:56 p.m., Saturday, August 4, 2018, 600 block Apple Road (MT) – Richard E. Davenport, M/47, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he attempted to contact a protected person using a social media telephone application.  Officers located Davenport, placed him under arrest, and transported him to Central Arraignment.


1.  Identity Theft, 2:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2018, 100 block Waypoint Drive (LT) – Unknown person/s attempted to open a Target account using compromised information.  No loss sustained.  Investigation continues.

2.  Theft By Unlawful Taking, August 7-8, 2018, 1300 block Country Club Drive (MT) – Unknown person/s stole two (2) political signs from a residential front yard.  Total loss: $2.00.

3.  Theft, 12:30-1:00 p.m., August 8, 2018, 1605 Lititz Pike (MT) – An unknown white female stole three (3) purses from three (3) unsuspecting elderly female shoppers after they left their purses unattended while they looked at merchandise.  Total loss: $980.00.  Investigation continues.

4.  Retail Theft, 1:14 p.m., August 8, 2018, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – Two unknown black males entered the store and stole $2,018.19 worth of baby formula.  They fled prior to being caught by store personnel.  Investigation continues.
