ARRESTS

1.  Firearms Carried Without a License Arrest, 8:52 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019, 1600 block Lititz Pike (MT) – Benjamin Shawn Wolgemuth, M/20, of Manheim, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for a suspected drug violation.  Officers searched Wolgemuth’s vehicle and located a North American Arms .22 Mag revolver in the driver’s seat rear pocket.  Wolgemuth was under the age of 21, making him ineligible to possess a valid license to carry.  He was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.

2.  Retail Theft Arrests, 1605 Lititz Pike – Giant Food Store (MT) – Troy L. Henry, M/51, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with two (2) counts of felony Retail Theft following two (2) incidents of shoplifting at the store.
- At 4:28 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2019, Henry entered the store and stole $163.32 worth of crab legs.
- At 11:10 a.m., Monday, June 24, 2019, Henry returned to the store and stole an additional $122.49 worth of crab legs.
- A criminal complaint was filed as Henry is already incarcerated in the Lancaster County Prison on unrelated charges.

3.  Retail Theft Arrests, 1605 Lititz Pike – Giant Food Store (MT) – Helen Villavicencio, F/49, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with two (2) counts of felony Retail Theft following two (2) incidents of shoplifting at the store.
- At 1:14 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2019, Villavicencio entered the store and stole $116.89 worth of merchandise.
- At 1:47 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2019, Villavicencio returned to the store and stole an additional $72.56 worth of merchandise.  She was detained by store personnel and taken into custody by police.
- Villavicencio was processed and taken to Central Arraignment.

4.  Retail Theft Arrest, 10:13 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2019, 1605 Lititz Pike – Giant Food Store (MT) – Jose David Valentin-Medina, M/42, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $101.92 worth of shrimp from the store.  Valentin-Medina fled the store but was located and arrested by police a short distance from the store.  He was processed and taken to Central Arraignment.

CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Criminal Mischief, July 1 to 2, 2019, 1400 block Passey Lane (LT) – Unknown person/s threw a rock and brick at the windshield of a parked vehicle, causing $1,000.00 in damage.

2.  Criminal Mischief, July 1 to 2, 2019, 1051 Landis Valley Road – Calvary Church (MT) – Unknown person/s threw a rock at the windshield of a tractor at a construction site, causing $1,000.00 in damage.

3.  Vehicle Theft, June 28 to July 2, 2019, McGovern Avenue (MT) – Unknown person/s stole a red 2005 Mazda MX6 as it sat parked.  The vehicle was later recovered a few streets away.  Total loss: $3,000.00.  Investigation continues.

4.  Theft By Deception, June 12 to 13, 2019, Dante Boulevard (LT) – Unknown person/s scammed the victim out of $5,000.00 after sending a bad check which was deposited into the victim’s bank account and the funds withdrawn.

5.  Theft, 12:05 p.m., Sunday, July 3, 2019, 5959 Main Street – Turkey Hill (EP) – An unknown black male stole a sheet of PA lottery tickets valued at $260.00.  Investigation continues.
