1. Retail Theft Arrests, 9:50 a.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2019, 1360 Columbia Avenue – Giant Food Store (LT) – Raena S. Gillespie, F/42, and Michael L. Porter, Jr., M/42, both of Lancaster, PA, were charged with the above offense after they were observed stealing $48.48 worth of merchandise from the store. A citation was filed against each party.
2. Endangering Welfare of Children / Harassment Arrest, 1:21 a.m., Thursday, May 9, 2019, 1600 block Judie Lane (LT) – Benjamin Montgomery, Jr., M/27, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a domestic dispute at his residence. During the altercation, Montgomery, Jr. picked up the adult victim and threw her to the ground. Montgomery, Jr. then tried to wrestle a one-year-old child out of the arms of the victim. In doing so, the child fell to the floor and struck their head. The victim attempted to leave the residence and Montgomery, Jr. followed the victim, leaving the child unattended inside the residence. He was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.
3. Retail Theft Arrest, 2:43 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2019, 1204 Millersville Pike – Weis Markets (LT) – Jose Manuel Vicenty, M/32, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $41.32 worth of merchandise from the store. Vicenty was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department on outstanding warrants and a criminal complaint was filed for the shoplifting incident.

1. Theft By Deception, 10:00 to 11:58 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019, 1417 East Oregon Road – COBYS (MT) – An employee of the business used their personal credit card to purchase $1,600 worth of eBay gift cards after unknown person/s used her supervisor’s email address and instructed her to do so.
