ARRESTS

1.  Harassment Arrest, 1:00 a.m., Monday, September 09, 2019, 600 block Ashland Drive (MT) – Sapan N. Shah, M/40, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a domestic dispute at his residence.  During the altercation, Shah slapped, pushed, and grabbed the victim, which resulted in a minor injury to the lip.  A citation was issued.

2.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 11:36 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2019, 700 block Olde Hickory Road (MT) – Brad L. Wilson, M/37, of Columbia, PA, was charged with the above offense after he appeared in a public place under the influence of alcohol to the degree that he annoyed others in the area.  A citation was filed.

3.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 1:36 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2019, 1000 Columbia Avenue – Sunoco (LT) – Dhiran Rai, M/20, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed unconscious in a parking lot behind the gas station.  Rai admitted to smoking marijuana and required medical treatment for his level of impairment.  A citation was filed.

4.  Scavenging Arrest, 6:30 a.m., Sunday, September 8, 2019, 900 block Pleasure Road (MT) – John K. Lentz, M/60, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed removing recycled material from a residential property.  Lentz is not a registered recycling hauler.  A citation was filed.

5.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 12:13 a.m., Sunday, September 8, 2019, 1262 Lititz Pike – Walgreen’s Pharmacy (MT) – Richard E. Davenport, M/31, homeless, was charged with the above offense after he was observed under the influence of heroin to the degree that he was a danger to himself.  Davenport injected himself with heroin, fell asleep inside the bathroom, and remained there until after the store had closed.  When Davenport awoke, he needed police to help free himself from the closed and locked business.  A citation was issued.

6.  DUI Arrest, 8:41 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2019, 1466 New Holland Pike – Lancaster Country Club (MT) – Karen Sue Hunt, F/61, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a burglar alarm activation at the business.  Hunt was observed driving on the property as officers approached the business, responding to the alarm.  Hunt approached officers to explain that she was an employee and the alarm was an accidental activation.  Hunt exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.  Hunt was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.216%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

7.  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest, 2:13 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2019, 1492 Lititz Pike – Clarion Inn (MT) – Samantha D. Keller, F/23, of Willow Street, and John V. Zook, M/49, of Lancaster, PA, were charged with the above offense after officers were at the hotel following up on a drug complaint.  Officers knocked on Keller and Zook’s door and observed drug paraphernalia in plain view.  Officers searched the room and found a glass smoking pipe, six (6) hypodermic needles, numerous empty glassine baggies, and a metal spoon.  Both were arrested, processed, and released pending a summons.  A criminal complaint was filed against each party.

8.  Scattering Rubbish (Littering) Arrest, 9:25 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2019, East King Street at Willis Lane (LT) – Mathew A. Montalto, M/42, of Mountville, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed throwing an aluminum can into the front yard of another person.  A citation was issued.

9.  False Identification to Law Enforcement Arrest, 9:37 p.m., Monday, September 2, 2019, 1200 block Harrisburg Pike (MT) – Michael Jonathan Feliciano, M/34, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for an improper display of registration.  When questioned by the officer, Feliciano provided a false name and date of birth in order to conceal the fact that his driver’s license was suspended for DUI.  Feliciano was arrested, processed, and released pending a summons.  A criminal complaint was filed.

10.  Retail Theft Arrest, 9:16 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2019, 1605 Lititz Pike – Giant Food Store (MT) – Robert B. Tucker, M/58, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $41.97 worth of merchandise from the store.  A citation was filed.


CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Theft of Services, 7:30 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2019, 1876 Fruitville Pike – Clean Eatz (MT) – An unknown white male threw an ottoman into the dumpster of the business.  Total loss: $140.00.  Investigation continues.

2.  Criminal Mischief, 11:55 a.m. to 1:10 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019, 1301 South Duke Street – Conestoga Greenway Trail (LT) – Unknown person/s threw an object at the window of a parked vehicle, shattering it.  Total loss: $300.00.

3.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, September 7 to 8, 2019, 500 to 600 block Cobblestone Lane (MT) – Unknown person/s entered three (3) unlocked vehicles as they sat parked overnight.  Cigarettes, sunglasses and cash were taken.  Total loss: $520.00.

4.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, 12:30 to 8:00 a.m., Sunday, September 8, 2019, 2200 block Coventry Road (MT) – Unknown person/s entered six (6) unlocked vehicles as they sat parked overnight.  Numerous items taken including cash and electronics.  Total loss: $994. 

5.   Access Device Fraud, Sunday, September 8, 2019, 900 block Green Terrace (MT) – Unknown person/s used the victim’s debit card to make a series of fraudulent purchases at area locations.  The victim lost the card while in Campbelltown, PA.  Total loss remains unknown and the investigation continues.

6.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, 7:45 to 8:05 p.m., Sunday, September 8, 2019, 500 block Kensington Terrace (LT) – Unknown person/s smashed the window of a vehicle which sat parked and rummaged around inside.  No items taken.  Total loss: $450.00 in damage.
