ARRESTS

1.  Possession of Marijuana Arrest, 10:49 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2019, 2300 block Middlegreen Court (MT) – Mohammed Z. Abdulrahman, M/21, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed sitting inside a parked vehicle rolling a marijuana cigarette.  A criminal complaint was filed.

2.  DUI Arrest, 11:47 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2019, Lititz Pike at East Roseville Road (MT) – Miguel A. Hernandez, M/55, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for impeding the flow of traffic.  Hernandez exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.  Hernandez was arrested but refused chemical testing.  A criminal complaint was filed.

3.  Cruelty to Animals / Dog Law Violation Arrest, 11:00 a.m, Thursday, August 8, 2019, 880 Plaza Boulevard – TJ Maxx (MT) – Carrie Mary Quiles, F/52, of Columbia, PA, was charged with the above offenses after she left her dog unattended inside a parked vehicle which was not running for almost thirty (30) minutes.  The air temperature was 820F and the windows were only slightly ajar.  Contact was made with Quiles and the dog was released from the car.  During the course of this investigation it was determined that Quiles never registered her dog with the County Treasurer.  Two (2) citations were filed.

4.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 5:38 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2019, 1492 Lititz Pike – Clarion Inn & Suites (MT) – Justin G. Hanson, M/34, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he overdosed on heroin and required medical attention.  A citation was issued.

5.  Simple Assault, 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2019, 874 Plaza Boulevard – Infinito’s Pizza (MT) – A 17-year-old juvenile from Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a domestic dispute inside a vehicle parked at the restaurant.  During the altercation, the juvenile took the victim’s cell phone and grabbed their arm, which caused bruising.  The victim attempted to regain their cell phone at which time the juvenile pushed the victim’s head against the window.  During the struggle, the juvenile bit the victim two (2) times on their arm, which caused injury.  A criminal complaint was filed with Juvenile Probation.

6.  DUI Arrest, 9:20 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2019, Harrisburg Pike at North President Avenue (LT) – Martha M. M. Ladson, F/21, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for suspected drug use.  Officers smelled burning marijuana coming from Ladson’s vehicle as it was operating down the roadway, and initiated a traffic stop.  Ladson exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to smoking marijuana.  Ladson was arrested and chemical testing yielded the presence of THC in her blood sample.  A criminal complaint was filed.

7.  Theft Arrest, 11:17 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019, 124 West Airport Road – Keystone Pretzel (MT) – Elimanuell Guzman-Saez, M/22, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following an investigation into employee theft.  Guzman-Saez, an employee of the business at the time of the incident, stole another employee’s cell phone.  Total loss: $300.00.  A criminal complaint was filed.

8.  Retail Theft Arrest, 2:53 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2019, 1605 Lititz Pike – Giant Food Store (MT) – Ann Marie Emerich, F/48, homeless, was charged with the above offense after she was observed stealing $415.87 worth of merchandise from the store.  When store employees attempted to intercept Emerich, she fled in a vehicle.  A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant was obtained.  Emerich remains a wanted person at this time.  Any person knowing the whereabouts of Emerich should call the Manheim Township Police Department at 717-569-6401 or provide information anonymously by clicking “Submit a Tip.”

9.  Simple Assault Arrest, 5:25 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2019, 2800 block Weaver Road (MT) – Alexander R. DiPaolo, M/36, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a domestic dispute at his residence.  During the altercation, DiPaolo repeatedly struck the victim with a steam mop which caused bodily injury.  DiPaolo was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.

10.  Deceptive of Fraudulent Business Practices / Home Improvement Fraud / Theft By Deception Arrest, 8:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2018, 1800 block Sturbridge Drive (MT) – David Wayne West, M/57, of Elizabethtown, PA, was charged with the above offenses after he received $4,713.25 from the victim to repair their home and failed to provide services in the contract / proposal, knowing that he was not able to provide the requested services.  West never performed the work as required and he never returned the money.  A criminal complaint was filed.

11.  Simple Assault / Harassment Arrest, 11:58 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2019, 1100 block Crest Lane (MT) – Sean Michael Tompkins, M/34, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a domestic dispute at his residence.  During the altercation, Tompkins pulled the victim out of bed by their hair and grabbing their chest.  Tompkins also dragged the victim down a set of stairs and punched them in the face four (4) to five (5) times.  Tompkins was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.

12.  Retail Theft Arrest, 7:54 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2019, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – Kellie N. Nichols, F/22, of Denver, PA, was charged with the above offense after she was observed stealing $76.96 worth of merchandise from the store.  Nichols was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.

13.  Forgery / Identity Theft Arrest, 2:21 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2019, 1605 Lititz Pike – Giant Food Store (MT) – Jimmy O. Green, M/33, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses after he purchased $168.23 worth of items, completed, and uttered a stolen check using the victim’s name, bank account, and identity.  Green completed the transaction by presenting a fraudulent ID card bearing the name, address, and fabricated driver’s license number of the victim.  A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant obtained.  Green was located, arrested on the outstanding warrant, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.

14.  Theft Arrest, 7:55 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2019, 1204 Lititz Pike – Sunoco (MT) – Gregory R. Butzer, M/38, homeless, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing a cash register drawer while the store clerk was distracted.  Total loss: $77.00.  A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant was obtained.  Butzer remains a wanted person at this time.  Any person knowing the whereabouts of Butzer should call the Manheim Township Police Department at 717-569-6401 or provide information anonymously by clicking “Submit a Tip.”


CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Robbery, 5:31 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2019, 5959 Main Street – Turkey Hill (EP) – An unknown, dark-skinned, black male entered the store and grabbed the store clerk’s hands when they opened the cash register during a sale.  The male told the clerk he had a gun and demanded the money.  The male took possession of cash and fled the store.  The clerk was not hurt.  Investigation continues.

2.  Simple Assault, 8:20 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2019, Route 283 West at Route 30 (MT) – An unknown black, male passenger in a gray Ford Fusion pointed a black and silver pistol at another driver while both were driving upon the highway.  The Ford fled the area after the incident.

3.  Criminal Mischief, September 27 to 28, 2019, 300 block Atkins Avenue (LT) – Unknown person/s dumped an unknown white powder onto a vehicle which sat parked overnight.  After the powder was washed off, scratches were found in the paint.  Total loss: $100.00.

4.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, September 28 to 29, 2019, 1000 block West Ross Street (MT) – Unknown person/s smashed a window of a vehicle which sat parked overnight and stole a diaper bag.  Total loss: $370.00.

5.  Criminal Mischief, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2019, Dylan Lane (LT) – Unknown person/s keyed a vehicle which sat parked in the area.  Total loss: $1,000.00.

6.  Theft, 8:30 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2019, 1106 Millersville Pike – Big Wash Laundromat (LT) – An unknown Hispanic female stole a black backpack containing cash and laundry cleaning items while the owner was distracted in the laundromat.  Total loss: $185.00.

7.  Theft, 10:41 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2019, 1800 block Amity Drive (MT) – An unknown male contractor stole a car key after he had been invited into the victim’s home to seek medical attention following a minor injury.  Total loss: $30.00.

8.  Retail Theft, 8:39 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2019, 3205 Lititz Pike – Sheetz (MT) – An unknown white male stole three (3) cases of beer from the store.  Total loss: $89.67.
