ARRESTS

1.  Theft of Services Arrest, 8:16 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2018, 1600 block Judie Lane (LT) – Evens Pierre, M/25, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he failed to pay for a $13.00 taxi cab fare.  A citation was filed.

2.  Harassment Arrest, 9:36 a.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019, 1000 block Lititz Avenue (MT) – Steven Rego, M/32, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a dispute at his residence.  During the altercation, Rego placed his foot inside the victim’s door, preventing its closure.  Rego then pushed on the door, causing the victim to fall and sustain a minor injury.  A citation was filed.

3.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 6:13 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2019, Spencer Avenue (LT) – Nicholas Blair Halerz, M/26, of Ephrata, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed knocking on doors and ringing doorbells of numerous residences, while under the influence of methamphetamine.  A citation was filed.

4.  DUI Arrest, 3:47 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019, Route 30 East at Route 222 North (MT) – Harry E. Keen, M/30, of Coatesville, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for a red-light violation.  Keen exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to drinking an alcoholic beverage.  Keen was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.104% and the presence of THC in his blood sample.  A criminal complaint was filed.

5.  DUI Arrest, 8:53 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2019, Lititz Pike at York Road (MT) – Ronny L. Moscoso, M/40, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a crash investigation.  Moscoso was identified as a driver in that crash and exhibited signs of impairment.  Moscoso was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.194%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

6.  Possession With Intent to Deliver Cocaine / Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / DUI Arrest, 12:45 a.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019, Glen Moore Circle at Orchard Street (MT) – Axel Hernan Colon, M/26, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop for unauthorized window tinting.  Colon exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to being in possession of marijuana.  Colon was arrested and during a search incident to arrest, officers located 35g of cocaine, marijuana, two (2) digital scales, a drug cutting agent, and drug packaging materials.  Colon was processed and taken to Central Arraignment.

7.  DUI Arrest, 4:14 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2019, Columbia Avenue at Atkins Avenue (LT) – Alejandro Santiago Leon, M/29, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for a headlamp infraction.  Leon exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to drinking an alcoholic beverage.  Leon was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.149%.  He was processed and taken to Central Arraignment.

8.  DUI Arrest, 11:25 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2019, 800 block Pleasure Road (MT) – Jordan A. Kleinhaus, M/33, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for an equipment violation.  Kleinhaus exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage.  Kleinhaus was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.125%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

9.  DUI Arrest, 9:49 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019, 1700 block Judie Lane (LT) – Matthew F. Wolfe, M/28, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a crash investigation.  Wolfe was identified as a driver in that crash and exhibited signs of impairment.  Wolfe was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.164%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

10.  DUI Arrest, 1:08 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2019, Chester Road at Lititz Pike (MT) – Abraham Bautista-Sanchez, M/33, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for a turning movement infraction.  Bautista-Sanchez exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested.  Chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.175%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

11.  Forgery / Theft By Unlawful Taking Arrest, 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2019, 400 block Cobblestone Lane (MT) – Eric J. Gamble, M/51, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses after he stole a company / organization check from his ex-girlfriend and wrote it out to himself in the amount of $300.00.  Gamble forged the signature of one of the authorized users of the checking account, endorsed the check, and had the $300.00 transfer into his personal bank account.  When interviewed by police, Gamble admitted to his involvement in this incident.  A criminal complaint was filed.

12.  Theft By Extortion / Possession of Marijuana Arrest, October 19 to November 12, 2018, 2300 block Oregon Pike (MT) – Jose A. Galindo, M/39, of Wernersville, PA, was charged with the above offenses after he obtained money from the victim under the threat that he would expose a secret of the victim’s if he did not pay.  On October 19, 2018, Galindo extorted $1,200.00 from the victim.  On November 12, 2018, Galindo attempted to extort another $1,500.00 from the victim and was arrested by police when he came to pick up the money from the victim.  During a search incident to arrest, Galindo was found in possession of marijuana.  He was processed at the police station and released.  A criminal complaint was filed.

13.  Possession With Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine / Possession With Intent to Deliver Marijuana Arrest, 6:41 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2019, 1100 block Marshall Avenue (MT) – Diante M. Rivera, M/23, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop on a vehicle suspected to be involved in a shooting.  Officers detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and a search was conducted.  The search yielded twenty-four (24) individually packaged baggies of marijuana totaling 20.5g as well as eight (8) individually packaged doses of crack cocaine totaling 0.97g.  Rivera was also in possession of $203.00 in cash.  A criminal complaint was filed.

CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, March 27-28, 2019, South President Avenue (LT) – Unknown person/s entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $150.00 worth of items.

2.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, March 27-28, 2019, 300 block Atkins Avenue (LT) – Unknown person/s entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $30.00 worth of items.

3.  Access Device Fraud, March 26, 2019, Haskell Drive (MT) – Unknown person/s accessed the victim’s credit card and used it to make $75.00 worth of fraudulent purchases.

4.  Retail Theft, 10:12 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2019, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – An unknown white male stole a pressure washer from the store.  Total loss: $297.00.

5.  Access Device Fraud, January through March, 2019, 3000 block Lititz Pike (MT) – An unidentified person used the victim’s credit card to make several fraudulent purchases totaling $1,122.24.

6.  Selective Enforcement Detail, 7:15 p.m., Saturday, March 30 to 12:45 a.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019, Routes 30, 283, and 222 (MT) – Officers performed targeted traffic enforcement as part of the PA Aggressive Driving Campaign.  During the detail, eleven (11) motorists were stopped resulting in five (5) citations and six (6) written warnings.  Violations included speeding, stop-sign infractions, driver’s license infractions, and equipment infractions.

7.  Rollover Crash, 7:42 a.m., Monday, April 1, 2019, Route 30 East at Route 283 East (MT) – Officers investigated a one-vehicle rollover crash that impacted the morning commute rush hour.  One person was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  The crash remains under investigation.
