ARRESTS

1.  Dog Law Violation Arrest, 1:14 p.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2018, 300 block East Oregon Road (MT) – Wayne R. Skaggs, M/55, of Lititz, PA, was charged with the above offense after he failed to control his dog and allowed it to run free without a leash or tie-down restraint.  Skaggs had previously been warned for the same offense.  A citation was filed.

2.  Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest, 5:06 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019, Fruitville Pike at Route 30 (MT) – Pamala S. Kiernan, F/21, of Holtwood, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop for suspicious activity.  Officers searched Kiernan’s vehicle which yielded marijuana and a marijuana grinder.  A criminal complaint was filed.

3.  Criminal Mischief Arrest, 3:44 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2019, 1278 Millersville Pike – CVS Pharmacy (LT) – Paige L. Mackey, F/22, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after she broke the window of a vehicle during an altercation in the parking lot.  Total loss: $300.00.  A citation was filed.

4.  Retail Theft / Theft By Deception Arrest, 10:04 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019, 1575 Fruitville Pike – Ulta Beauty (MT) – Lester Eubanks Parsons, III, M/39, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses after he stole a hair iron, valued at $91.68.  Moments later, a female (identified in #5 below) entered the store and “returned” the stolen hair iron.  A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant obtained.  Parsons, III remains a wanted person at this time.  Any person knowing the whereabouts of Parsons, III should call the Manheim Township Police Department at 717-569-6401 or provide information anonymously by clicking “Submit a Tip.”

5.  Theft By Deception Arrest, 10:04 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019, 1575 Fruitville Pike – Ulta Beauty (MT) – Alexandra Nicole Rineer, F/29, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after she returned a hair iron, which had been previously stolen from the store.  Total loss: $91.68.  Rineer was identified using store surveillance and an arrest warrant obtained.  The following day officers located Rineer.  She was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.

6.  Theft, 7:09 p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2018, 1829 Oregon Pike – McDonald’s (MT) – Alex James Saunders, M/25, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he stole a cell phone that was left on the counter of the restaurant.  Total loss: $650.00.  A criminal complaint was filed.

7.  Retail Theft Arrest, 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 30, 2018, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – Alvaro J. Cedeno, M/24, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following an investigation into employee theft.  Cedeno, an employee of Walmart at the time, did under ring merchandise on twenty-five (25) occasions for a total loss of $104.76 to the store.  A citation was issued.

CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property, 12:50-1:10 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – Unknown person/s stole a Samsung tablet after it was accidentally left on a shelf in the store.  Total loss: $700.00.

2.  Theft By Deception, 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2019, 2200 block Lititz Pike (MT) – Unknown person/s contacted the victim and told them their grandchild was arrested and needed $1,500.00 for bail.  The victim purchased $1,500.00 in Target gift cards and provided the person with the card information. 

3.  Retail Theft, 7:25 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019, 1100 Millersville Pike – Getty Mart (LT) – An unknown black male stole $59.87 worth of tobacco from the store.

4.  Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property, 5:15 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019, 1204 Millersville Pike – Weis Markets (LT) – Unknown person/s stole a purse which had been left sitting unattended in a shopping cart in the vestibule.  Total loss: $985.00.

5.  Theft, January 17-19, 2019, Knollwood Drive (MT) – Unknown person/s stole a black and red Ancheer electric bicycle from a front porch.  Total loss: $610.00.

6.  Criminal Mischief, January 19-20, 2019, 900 block First Street (LT) – Unknown person/s smashed the rear window of a vehicle as it sat parked overnight.  Total loss: $386.00.

7.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, January 19-20, 2019, 700 block South West End Avenue (LT) – Unknown person/s entered two (2) vehicles which sat parked overnight.  Once inside, the person/s rummaged through the vehicles.  Nothing taken.

8.  Retail Theft, 3:51 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2019, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – An unknown male stole a television from the store.  Total loss: $278.00.

9.  Theft, 6:00-6:30 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2019, 5959 Main Street – Turkey Hill (EP) – Unknown person/s stole $140.00 in cash from a wallet, which had accidentally been left at the store. 

10.  Selective Enforcement Detail, 11:40 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2019, Miller Road at Clarkson Drive (EP) – Officers performed a speed enforcement detail.  Nine (9) motorists were stopped and cited.  The highest recorded speed was 44 MPH in this 25 MPH zone.

11.  Selective Enforcement Detail, 2:30-4:05 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2019, Route 283 West at York Road (MT) – Officers performed a speed enforcement detail.  Fifteen (15) motorists were stopped and cited.  The highest recorded speed was 91 MPH in this 55 MPH zone.
