ARRESTS

1.  Noise Ordinance Violation Arrest, 7:22 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2019, 1400 block Passey Lane (LT) – George Ambrosecchio, M/58, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after music was heard coming from his residence, which crossed property boundaries and annoyed others in the area.  Ambrosecchio had previously been warned for the same offense.  A citation was issued.

2.  Park Hours Ordinance Violation Arrest, 9:17 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019, 1420 Columbia Avenue – Maple Grove Park (LT) – Sajan Gurung, M/20, and Deepandra Katuwal, M/18, both of Lancaster, PA, were charged with the above offense after both were found inside the Maple Grove Park after sunset.  A citation was filed against each person.

3.  Public Drunkenness Arrest, 2:18 a.m., Sunday, November 17, 2019, 600 block South West End Avenue (LT) – David J. Brooks, M/36, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed yelling and being unable to walk or stand unassisted, while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.  A citation was filed.

4.  Soliciting Ordinance Violation Arrest, 3:15 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2019, Chester Road at Fruitville Pike (MT) – Elam S. King, M/68, homeless, was charged with the above offense after he was observed soliciting money from passing motorists.  A citation was issued.

5.  Harassment Arrest, 5:54 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019, 900 block East King Street (LT) – Andre S. Vaughn, M/34, and Tabitha L. Rodriguez, F/31, both of Lancaster, PA, were charged with the above offense following a domestic dispute at their residence.  During the altercation, Vaughn pushed Rodriguez, causing a scratch, and wrestled with her.  Rodriguez slapped Vaughn multiple times which caused a small cut on his lip.  A citation was filed against each party.

6.  Simple Assault Arrest, 4:40 p.m., Saturday, October 19, 2019, 209 Petersburg Road – Manheim Township Community Park (MT) – Harry Marion Awa, M/19, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he punched another person multiple times in the head and face.  A criminal complaint was filed.

7.  Retail Theft / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest, 9:53 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2019, 1360 Columbia Avenue – Giant Food Store (LT) – Johan Cruz, M/27, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $58.06 worth of merchandise from the store.  Officers took Cruz into physical custody and during a search incident to arrest found him in possession of two (2) used hypodermic needles and a metal pipe with burnt residue upon it.  Cruz was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.

8.  Indirect Criminal Contempt (Protection From Abuse Order Violation) Arrest, 8:24 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019, 1400 block New Holland Pike (MT) – Joseph M. Cruz, M/32, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he made contact with a protected person.  A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant obtained.  Cruz remains a wanted person at this time.  Any person knowing the whereabouts of Cruz should contact the Manheim Township Police Department at 717-569-6401 or provide information anonymously by clicking “Submit a Tip” below.

9.  Retail Theft Arrest, 1:31 p.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2019, 1204 Millersville Pike – Weis Markets (LT) – Jose R. Colon-Alvarado, M/24, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $51.96 worth of cooked shrimp.  A citation was filed.

10.  Retail Theft Arrests, November 1 to 11, 2019, 1278 Millersville Pike – CVS Pharmacy (LT) – Amy L. Searing, F/40, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with two (2) counts of the above offense following two (2) instances of shoplifting.  They were as follows:
- 8:49 a.m., on Friday, November 1, 2019, Searing stole $32.76 worth of merchandise from the store.  She was not able to be stopped by store personnel after this incident.
- 3:14 p.m., on Friday, November 15, 2019, Searing stole $216.90 worth of merchandise from the store.  Searing was stopped by police and arrested.  She was processed and taken to Central Arraignment.

11.  Forgery Arrest, 3:32 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019, 1701 Oregon Pike – M&T Bank (MT) – Valessa Enid Rosario, F/21, of Ephrata, PA, was charged with the above offense after she attempted to cash a check valued at $358.37, which she knew to be forged.  A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant obtained.  Rosario remains a wanted person at this time.  Any person knowing the whereabouts of Rosario should call the Manheim Township Police Department at 717-569-6401 or provide information anonymously by clicking “Submit a Tip” below.

12.  Retail Theft Arrest, 7:18 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2019, 1360 Columbia Avenue – Giant Food Store (LT) – Robin Nicole Greiner, F/32, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after she was observed stealing $45.80 worth of merchandise.  A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant obtained.  Greiner remains a wanted person at this time.  Any person knowing the whereabouts of Greiner should call the Manheim Township Police Department at 717-569-6401 or provide information anonymously by clicking “Submit a Tip” below.


CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Identity Theft, 11:19 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2019, 1400 block Wynnewood Drive (MT) – Unknown person/s used the victim’s identity to open a utility account and make $1,144.48 worth of fraudulent purchases.

2.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, November 15 to 16, 2019, 200 block Dickens Drive (LT) – Unknown person/s entered a vehicle as it sat parked overnight and stole a wallet and contents.  Two (2) check cards were later used to make a series of fraudulent purchases. 

3.  Theft, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – Unknown person/s stole a customer’s cell phone while they were shopping inside the store.  Total loss: $800.00.
