ARRESTS

1.  DUI Arrest, 8:27 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019, 2100 block Oregon Pike (MT) – Tonya J. Weiss, F/45, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for erratic driving.  Weiss exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested.  She refused chemical testing.  A criminal complaint was filed.

2.  Dog Law Violation Arrests, 12:36 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2019, 600 block South West End Avenue (LT) – Zachary Sharp, M/58, of Lancaster, PA was charged with Confinement of Dogs after he removed a pit-bull from its leash and allowed to enter the property of another.  The owner of the dog, Ralph E. Harris, M/57, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with Vaccination Against Rabies Required and Application for License after it was discovered that the dog was not registered with the county or up to date with the rabies vaccine.  All three (3) citations were filed.

3.  Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest, 7:56 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2019, Wagonwheel Road at Coach House Lane (MT) – Matthew R. Principe, M/27, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop for failing to use headlamps after dark.  Officers searched Principe’s vehicle which yielded marijuana and a blue, glass smoking pipe.  A criminal complaint was filed.

4.  DUI / Altered or Forged Documents Arrest, 12:22 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019, 3000 block Lititz Pike (MT) – Jose Luis Soto-Ortiz, M/35, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a check on the welfare.  Soto-Ortiz was found passed out in the driver seat of a vehicle, whose engine was running.  Soto-Ortiz exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.  A check of Soto-Ortiz’s vehicle yielded altered and counterfeit inspection stickers being displayed on the windshield.  Soto-Ortiz was arrested and taken for a blood draw, the results of which are still pending at this time.  A criminal complaint was filed.

5.  Retail Theft / Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest, 5:47 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019, 1605 Lititz Pike – Giant Food Store (MT) – Jacksua A. Albino-Camacho, M/29, of Columbia, PA, was charged with the above offense after he was observed stealing $126.97 worth of merchandise from the store.  Officers also searched Albino-Camacho’s vehicle which yielded marijuana, plastic baggies, and a digital scale.  Through the course of this investigation, it was determined that Albino-Camacho was responsible for a series of other shoplifting incidents at the same store.  They are as follows:
- 8:59 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Albino-Camacho was observed stealing $58.72 worth of merchandise from the store.
- 7:21 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2019, Albino-Camacho was observed stealing $25.92 worth of merchandise from the store.
- 6:42 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2019, Albino-Camacho was observed stealing $5.99 worth of merchandise from the store.
- 3:40 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2019, Albino-Camacho was observed stealing $34.99 worth of merchandise from the store.
- 6:36 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2019, Albino-Camacho was observed stealing $4.27 worth of merchandise from the store.
- 7:08 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2019, Albino-Camacho was observed stealing $24.44 worth of merchandise from the store.
Following his arrest on Thursday, May 2, 2019, Albino-Camacho was processed and taken before Magisterial District Judge David P. Miller for arraignment.  Bail was set at $10,000.00 cash which Albino-Camacho could not post.  He was remanded to Lancaster County Prison.

CRIMES & INCIDENTS

1.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, 10:29 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019, 1800 block Northbrook Drive (MT) – Unknown person/s entered a vehicle and stole loose change.  Investigation continues.

2.  Theft From Motor Vehicle, May 1 to 2, 2019, 1500 block Zarker Road (MT) – Unknown person/s entered two (2) unlocked vehicles and stole $10.00 in loose change.
