1. Access Device Fraud Arrest, August 2019 to January 27, 2020, Center Drive (MT) – Karen Elizabeth Shockley, F/55, of Marietta, PA, was charged with the above offense after she used another person’s credit card to make twenty-three (23) unauthorized transactions totaling $2,087.29. A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant obtained. Shockley remains a wanted person at this time. 2. Theft From Motor Vehicle Arrest, 7:26 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2020, 1900 block Crooked Oak Drive (MT) – Aregash Kassahun Tereffe, F/23, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense after she was observed attempting to steal a $500.00 Apple iPad from an unlocked vehicle, which sat parked in the area. She was arrested, processed, and taken to Central Arraignment.
3. Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property, 5:37 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2020, 2030 Fruitville Pike – Walmart (MT) – Dennis Bernstein, M/70, of Lititz, PA, was charged with the above offense after he stole $80.00 in cash from a self-serve check-out register at the store. The customer before Bernstein requested $80.00 in cash at the end of their transaction, but forgot to retrieve the money from the dispenser. They then walked away. Bernstein was observed taking the money immediately following the victim’s departure. A criminal complaint was filed.
