Armor of God Donation
The Armor of God Project began in 2009 and is dedicated to recycling used ballistic vests and provide them to officers who do not have a ballistic vest to protect them. On February 8, 2018, officers from the Manheim Township Police Department, under the direction of Officer Michele Johns, donated twenty (20) of their used ballistic vests to the Armor of God project and shipped them to Alabama. On February 9, 2018, Officer Johns' work with the Armor of God Project was recently showcased on ABC27 News. Special thanks to Andrew Forgotch for sharing Officer Johns' extraordinary efforts!
