SPECIAL NEWS RELEASE – DUI ARRESTS FROM WEEKEND OF 11/9th - 11th/2019

1.  DUI Arrest, 2:11 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2019, 1800 block Fruitville Pike (MT) – Noah James Dieffenbach, M/23, of Manheim, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for speeding.  Dieffenbach exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.  He was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.161%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

2.  DUI Arrest, 3:53 a.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019, 1800 block Eden Road (MT) – Jonathan Manuel Suarez, M/26, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a crash investigation.  Suarez was identified as a driver in that crash and exhibited signs of impairment.  He also admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and openly deemed himself “too drunk to have driven.”  Suarez was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.213%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

3.  DUI Arrest, 1:42 a.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019, York Road at Lititz Pike (MT) – Elaine M. Gioeli, F/25, of Red Lion, PA, was charged with the above offense following a crash investigation.  Gioeli, a witness to the crash, remained on scene until investigating officers arrived on scene.  As officers spoke with Gioeli, she exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.  Gioeli was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.233%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

4.  DUI / Possession of Marijuana Arrest, 3:12 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2019, Harrisburg Pike at Route 30 West (MT) – Eric E. David, M/34, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop for erratic driving.  David exhibited signs of impairment and his vehicle had marijuana smoke escaping from its interior.  David was taken into physical custody and during a search incident to arrest, was found in possession of marijuana.  Chemical testing yielded Methamphetamine, THC, Cocaine, and Benzoylecgonine in his blood sample.  A criminal complaint was filed.

5.  DUI / Open Container Arrest, 2:07 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2019, 1600 block New Holland Pike (MT) – Alexander S. Polischouk, M/31, of Denver, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop for an expired registration plate.  Polischouk exhibited signs of impairment and officers observed two (2) opened beer cans in the center console of the vehicle.  Polischouk was arrested and chemical testing yielded a BAC of 0.199%.  A criminal complaint was filed.

6.  DUI / Possession of Heroin Arrest, 1:37 a.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019, Lititz Pike at York Road (MT) – Justin Dwayne Campbell, M/24, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a crash investigation.  Campbell was identified as a driver in that crash and exhibited signs of impairment.  He was arrested and taken for a blood draw.  During a search incident to arrest, officers located heroin.  Charges are pending the results of the chemical testing of his blood sample.

7.  DUI / Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest, 8:59 p.m., Saturday, November 9, 2019, North President Avenue at West Clay Street (MT) – Zachary T. Young, M/26, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for an equipment violation; Young was observed driving on a flat tire.  Young exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.  Officers also observed an opened bottle of an alcoholic beverage lying on the passenger side floorboard.  Young was arrested and taken for a blood draw.  During a search incident to arrest, officers located a vaping pen which contained THC oil.  Charges are pending the results of the chemical testing of his blood sample.
