Serious Motorcycle Crash - Petersburg Road / Pendleton Drive - 8/9/2018



At 7:56 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2018, Manheim Township Police were dispatched to the intersection of Petersburg Road and Pendleton Drive for a serious motorcycle crash.  Officers arriving on the scene determined that a motorcycle with one rider was travelling westbound on Petersburg Road when it lost control and struck the curb at the intersection of Pendleton Drive.  No other vehicles or persons were struck.  The lone rider was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.  The roadway was shut for several hours for officers to investigate the crash scene.  No further information is being released at this time as this remains an open investigation.
