Check on the Welfare Call Leads Officers to Suspicious Death



At 3:14 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2019, officers from the Manheim Township Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Dickens Drive in Lancaster Township for a check on the welfare call.  Upon arrival, officers found a deceased person inside the home, and deemed the manner of death to be suspicious.  However, there was no danger to the public as a result of this incident.  Detectives are currently working on this incident and the investigation is still open.  As such, no further information will be released at this time.  Updates will be given by the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office as they become available.
