DUI-General Impairment, DUS-DUI Related, Roadways Laned for Traffic Arrest, 11:45 pm, February 28, 2023, 1400 block of Manheim Pike (MT) – Julia Christina Yarnall, F/37, of Lancaster, PA was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop for a moving violation. On February 28, 2023, this vehicle was straddling the white lane divider lines and at one point, moved from the left lane to the right lane without signaling, nearly striking another vehicle. It continued through an intersection and drifted over the fog line, nearly striking the curb before suddenly jerking back into the lane of travel. A check of the registration displayed showed it was registered to Julia Yarnall, and that her operating privilege was suspended. The officer initiated a traffic stop. The officer made contact with the driver, ultimately identified as Julia Yarnall via a passport. She admitted she did not have a license and she spoke with slow and deliberate speech. She admitted to having taken her prescription medications and was in possession of a prescription bottle of the medication. She was asked to exit the vehicle and was unsteady on her feet and was defiant both verbally and physically. She refused to submit to a standardized field sobriety test. She was then arrested.
A criminal complaint was filed. Julia Christina Yarnall was taken into custody and taken to Lancaster County Prison for arraignment.
