Firearms not to be carried without a license / Simple Assault Arrest, 10:25 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022, Route 30 @ New Holland Pk (MT) – Robert B Thompson V, M/44, of Columbia, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a “road rage” incident. It was reported that Thompson had cut off a commercial vehicle while traveling on Route 30 East. Both vehicles had stopped near New Holland Pk and Thompson pointed a pistol at the driver of the other vehicle after he “perceived a threat.” There was a partial video of the incident. Investigation revealed that Thompson does not possess a License to Carry Firearms in Pennsylvania. A criminal complaint was filed on 4/18/2022.
