Retail Theft Arrest, December 19, 2022, Walmart at 2030 Fruitville Pk (MT) – Tiffany Anne Stanford, F/41, of Mountville, PA was charged with the above offense following the report of a shoplifter in custody. A Walmart employee related that while using the self-checkout, Tiffany Stanford feigned scanning items and let other items in her cart without scanning them at all. Stanford then proceeded to the exit, passing all points of purchase, without paying for the remaining items. The total amount of items not scanned was $135.95. Stanford has 5 prior convictions for retail theft, two in Pennsylvania and three in Maine.
A criminal complaint was filed. Tiffany Anne Stanford was processed and transported to Lancaster County Prison for arraignment.
