Sexual Abuse of Children / Criminal Use of a Communication Facility Arrest. Tuesday, April 5, 2022, 4400 Blk Crossings Blvd (MT) – Eric J. McCarthy, M/32, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following an investigation by Manheim Township Police Detectives. On October 17, 2021, police received a Cyber Tipline notification involving suspected child pornography. Follow-up investigation led to the discovery of at least (7) seven videos and (1126) one thousand one hundred twenty-six images of suspected child pornography on an iPhone in McCarthy’s possession.
McCarthy was charged and turned himself in to the Manheim Township Police. He was arraigned and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
