Aggravated Assault Arrest, December 24, 2022, 11:06 pm, 1300 block of Millersville Pk (LT) – Roger Martinez-Lopez, M/19, of Lancaster, PA was charged with the above offense following a report of an assault. The officer spoke to Marinez-Lopez, who admitted to wielding a knife during an altercation with the victim, but he claimed the victim was attacking him with a weapon. Martinez-Lopez had almost no visible injuries sustained to substantiate these claims. The victim admitted that when Martinez-Lopez produced a knife, they fled and tripped. Martinez-Lopez caught them and proceeded to stab them in the back.
A criminal complaint was filed. Roger Martinez-Lopez was taken into custody and committed to Lancaster County Prison. Bail was set at $25,000 and Martinez-Lopez was later released after it was posted.
