LBPD Statement on Warwick School District communication

Lititz Borough - The Lititz Borough Police Department is aware of information being communicated from the Warwick School District to parents of students regarding threats and police response.  The LBPD is not aware of any threats being made to the School District, School Buildings, Staff or Students.  Warwick School District Police Department has not requested assistance from our department due to any threats and LBPD Officers have not been present on any Warwick School District Campus due to any threats.  LBPD Officers were present at the Middle School today, 09/23/2021, at the request of the Warwick School District Police Department, for an unrelated, spontaneous incident that did not involve threats of any kind.  That incident was handled by the Warwick School District Police Department without the need for LBPD involvement.  The LBPD actively patrols the areas around all school buildings and has been doing so for more than 20 years.
