LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD filed a criminal complaint against Samantha Paola RODRIGUEZ, age 21, of Lancaster, for Altered, Forged or Counterfeit Documents and Plates and Trademark Counterfeiting, along with the summary vehicle code violations of Operation of Vehicle without Valid Inspection and Driver’s Required to be Licensed.
On 06/06/2022 around 2:11pm, an Officer stopped a vehicle driven by RODRIGUEZ in the 100 block of South Broad Street after the vehicle was observed being operated with inspection and emission certificates that did not appear authentic. During the traffic stop, officers determined the inspection and emissions certificates displayed on the vehicle were counterfeit. Officers also discovered that the vehicle did not have a valid certificate of inspection and RODRIGUEZ did not process a driver’s license. RODRIGUEZ was released from the scene and she will be summoned to appear in court.
RODRIGUEZ is presumed innocent.
