LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD arrested Harold Freeman PROPER III, age 45, of Lititz, for Altered, Forged or Counterfeit Documents and Plates and Trademark Counterfeiting, along with the summary vehicle code violation Operation of Vehicle without Valid Inspection.
On 06/12/2022 around 11:40am, an Officer stopped a vehicle driven by PROPER in the 1st block of East Main Street after the vehicle was observed being operated with inspection and emission certificates that did not appear authentic. During the traffic stop, officers determined the inspection and emissions certificates displayed on the vehicle were counterfeit. Officers also discovered that the vehicle did not have a valid certificate of inspection. PROPER was taken into custody and transported to the Lititz Borough Police Department where he was processed on the charges and released. PROPER will be summoned to appear in District Court for a preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.
PROPER is presumed innocent.
