The LBPD filed a criminal complaint against Olga Valerevna PALASHNYUK, age 31, of Myerstown, for Driving Under the Influence and Restriction on Alcoholic Beverages.
On 01/15/2021 around 10:53pm, An Officer from Northern Lancaster County Regional PD as well as a LBPD Officer witnessed a vehicle strike the fountain at the Square in Lititz Borough and continue driving north on Route 501. The NLCRPD Officer stopped the vehicle in the first block of North Broad Street. LBPD Officers made contact with PALASHNYUK, who was the driver of the vehicle, and discovered open containers of alcohol inside her vehicle. Upon further investigation Officers determined that PALASHNYUK was under the influence of alcohol and she was taken into custody. PALASHNYUK was transported to NLCRPD for the purpose of a breathalyzer. PALASHNYUK provided samples of her breath which showed she had a BAC of .203%. PALASHNYUK was then released from custody and she will be summoned to appear in District Court.
PALASHNYUK is presumed innocent.
