On 03/11/2019 at 2:45 PM, members of the LBPD responded to the Warwick High School after a student communicated a threat towards a staff member which he alleged was going to occur on 03/12/2019. The student is Vincent Michael PADURANO (age 18), of Lititz. The situation was promptly handled by school officials and the LBPD was immediately involved. During the course of the investigation it was determined the students, staff and property were never in danger at any time. PADURANO was taken into custody and removed from the property immediately by police. A criminal complaint was filed against PADURANO, alleging the crime of Terroristic Threats. PADURANO was held for an immediate preliminary arraignment which occurred on 03/11/2019 by MDJ Jonathan HEISSE. PADURANO was subsequently committed to Lancaster County Prison after failing to post bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
A preliminary statement was released by the Warwick School District and the LBPD following this event.
PADURANO is presumed innocent.
