The LBPD arrested Maeloni Gladali MORALES, age 25, of Lititz on the following charges; Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, Endangering the Welfare of Children, Possessing instruments of crime and Tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
On 10/13/2020 at 6:16pm, Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Lane for a reported stabbing. Arriving Officers located a 30 year old male Victim with a stab wound to the back of his upper torso. The victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive his injuries.
Through the course of the investigation, Officers learned that the victim and suspect, identified as MORALES, were involved in a dispute. At some point in the dispute, MORALES picked up a knife and stabbed the victim, while the Victim was holding an infant. The infant was unharmed. The Victim also reported that MORALES threatened the Victim prior to the stabbing.
MORALES was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Lititz Borough Police Department. MORALES was eventually taken to Central Booking for processing and arraignment. As of the time of this release MORALES is still awaiting arraignment.
MORALES is presumed innocent.
