The LBPD arrested Jerry Glynn LEE, age 39, of New Holland for Escape, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude and Officer, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unauthorized transfer or use of registration, Operation of vehicle with valid certificate of inspection and operation of vehicle without require financial responsibility.
On 07/08/2020 at around 11:18pm, an officer observed the vehicle LEE was driving heading north on South Broad Street with a registration plate that did not belong to that vehicle. When Officers attempted to stop LEE he fled northbound and turned onto East Lincoln Avenue. LEE then pulling into a private parking area and fled from the vehicle on foot. Officers caught up to LEE a short time later after he became stuck on a fence. When Officers attempted to take LEE into custody he resisted. Officers then located several items of drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and discovered that the was not inspected or insured. Officers also learned that LEE had an active warrant for his arrest. Custody of LEE was then turned over to the PA State Police for disposition of their warrant. LEE was then transported LCP and arraigned on the charges.
LEE is presumed innocent.
