LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Kevin Alexander KARCZEWSKI, age 30, of Lititz, alleging he committed the crimes of strangulation, criminal trespass and simple assault.
The LBPD responded to a report of a domestic-violence-related incident on 12/25/2022 around 7:08 pm at a residence in the 100 Block of North Broad Street. It is alleged that KARCZEWSKI had entered the residence of an adult female who is known to him, where he is not permitted to be. Once inside the residence, it is alleged that KARCZEWSKI got into a physical altercation with the female during which time, he placed his hands around her neck, applying pressure to her neck and throat. KARCZEWSKI was taken into custody and subsequently transported to Lancaster County Central Booking where he was afforded an immediate preliminary arraignment. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
KARCZEWSKI is presumed innocent.
