The LBPD has filed a criminal complaint against Jahmal Amin HODGES, age 43, of Lititz for Altered, Forged or Counterfeit Documents and Plates, Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked, Trespass by Motor Vehicle and Violations of Use of Certificate of Inspection.
On June 2, 2019 at around 5:37pm an Officer was monitoring traffic on Laurel Avenue in the area of Conway Drive when he observed a vehicle with Inspection and Emission certificates that did not appear correct. Officers were eventually able to stop the vehicle, which was being operated by HODGES, after it pulled into a private driveway on Landis Valley Road. Officers then discovered that the Inspection and Emission Certificates had been issued to a different vehicle and they were altered to appear as if they belonged to HODGES’s vehicle. Officers also discovered that HODGES did not know the resident of the driveway he entered and that his license was suspended. HODGES was arrested and transported to the Lititz Borough Police station. HODGES was subsequently released and will be summoned to appear in court.
HODGES is presumed innocent.
