The LBPD has filed a criminal complaint against Anthony James BOAK, age 25, of Lititz, for Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Prohibiting Text-based Communications, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic, and Carrying and exhibiting driver’s license on demand.
On 12/30/2018 at 2:54am, an LBPD patrol officer stopped the vehicle BOAK was driving after observing the vehicle leave the roadway and strike curb which occurred at the intersection of North Cedar Street and Noble Street. During the course of the traffic stop, it was discovered that BOAK was under the influence of alcohol and he was taken into custody. BOAK was transported to the LBPD where he provided evidential samples of his breath which indicated a .128% BAC. BOAK was later released from custody and will be summoned to appear in Court for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.
BOAK is presumed innocent.
