LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Dustin ADAMS, age 22, of Ephrata, alleging he committed the crimes of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On 07/18/2022 around 10:32 PM, LBPD patrol officers were dispatched to a call of suspicious activity in the 000 Block of East Orange Street. During the investigation, it is alleged that ADMAS was found to be operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. ADAMS was taken into custody and a drug influence evaluation was performed by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE). ADAMS subsequently refused to provide a sample of his blood. ADMAS has been summoned to appear in District Court for a preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.
ADAMS is presumed innocent.
