City of Lancaster Emergency Management Coordinator, Gene Duncan, saw that Joseph Besecker and Project Emerald are working to supply local first responders with PPE such as masks and gloves. Duncan, along with Lt. Chris Laser, were able to facilitate a donation of 300 N95 masks and 900 gloves. Besecker is still working on obtaining a quantity of face shields for the Lancaster Bureau of Police.

On Friday March 20, 2020 at approximately 2056 hrs. Officers from Lancaster Bureau of Police, Platoon B, responded to the Rite Aid 825 E. Chestnut St. for a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
