On 26 June 18 at approximately 2211 hrs. officers responded to a residence on the 700 blk. E. Walnut St. for a report of shots fired. When Officers arrived were there they were told that Manuel Iguina Jr. and (3) unknown males arrived at the home several minutes prior. Iguina's ex-girlfreind and other family members were at the house. Iguina attempted to push his was into the home to confront people inside the home. An argument ensued.
Eventually Iguina and the other males left the front of the home and stopped at the intersection of E. Walnut St. and N. Reservoir St. Iguina pulled out a 9mm handgun a fired one shot toward the people standing in front of the residence on E. Walnut St. Iguina and the other males with him fled northbound on N. Reservoir St.
No injuries were reported as a result of the shot fired. Officers were able to recover a single 9mm casing from the area of N. Reservoir St. and E. Walnut St.
As a result of this investigation and consultation with the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office, Off. Yoder filed a Criminal Complant against Manuel Iguina Jr. before MDJ Jimenez. Iguina was charged with Criminal Attempt - Burglary (F1), Terroristic Threats (M2), (9) counts Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2), Possession Of Firearm Prohibited (persons under 21) (M1), Firearms Not To Be Carried W/O License (F3), (5) counts Simple Assault (M2), DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS (City Ordinance)(S) and Possessing Instruments of Crime (M1). A warrant was obtained for the arrest of Iguina Jr.
