On Tuesday October 6, 2020 at approximately 1517 hrs. Officers from Lancaster Bureau of Police responded to the 400 blk. S. Christian St. for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, Officers found that an occupied residence and a parked, unoccupied motorcycle had been struck and damaged by gunfire. Officers located spent shell casings on the ground. Those items were collected as evidence.
Officers and Detectives canvassed the area for suspect information, evidence, additional victims, witnesses and video surveillance locations.
Through the course of the investigation, the person responsible for firing the shots was identified as Victor Garcia M/18 of 600 blk. W. Lemon St. Lancaster, PA.
Det. Krause filed a Criminal Complaint against Garcia, charging him with Persons Not To Possess (etc.) Firearms (F2), Firearms Not To Be Carried Without a License (F3), Discharge of Firearm Into Occupied Structure (F3), Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2), Criminal Mischief (M2) and Discharge of Firearms within Lancaster City (S). A warrant was issued for the arrest of Garcia.
