CITY OF LANCASTER LIFTS SNOW EMERGENCY

LANCASTER, Pa., February 18, 2021 – The Snow Emergency declared for the City of Lancaster will be lifted on Thursday, February 18 at 8 p.m. Residents will have until 8 a.m. on Friday, February 19 to move their cars out from parking garage facilities.

Vehicles must be removed from designated garages no later than 8 a.m. on Friday, February 19, or be subject to paid parking.

The street cleaning schedule will resume on Friday, February 19. Utilizing the street cleaning schedule when snow remains on the ground allows the Department of Public Works to continue to clear travel and parking lanes of snow. This work ensures access to safe travel and accessible parking for all residents. The Department of Public Works asks all residents who live on street cleaning routes scheduled to be cleaned tomorrow to please move their cars so they may effectively clear parking lanes.
