Shooting Investigation 600 blk. St. Joseph St. 11/11/2017

On Saturday 11 November 2017 at approximately 1908 hrs. Officers from Platoon A responded to the 600 blk. St. Joseph St. for a report of shots fired. When the Officers arrived in the area, a call was placed from Lancaster Regional Medical Center (LRMC) for a patient, a 22 year old male, that had just walked into the ER. The patient had (2) gun shot wounds to the lower leg. The injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
Other Officers responded to LRMC while Officers continued to check and canvas the area of the 600 blk. St. Jospeh St. Officers located spent shell casings on the ground in front of a residence on St. Joseph St. Officers also found that a parked, unoccupied vehicle had been damaged by gunfire.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation. No arrests have been made as of the time of this press release.
