Selective Enforcement Unit (SEU) Synthetic Cannabinoids/ K2 Search Warrant 500 blk. E. King St. 2/7/2019

On Thursday February 7, 2019 at approximately 1633 hrs. members of the Lancaster Bureau of Police Selective Enforcement Unit (SEU) and additional Officers executed a drug related search warrant at a residence on the 500 blk. E. King St. This search warrant was the result of a (2) month investigation into the sales of synthetic cannabinoids, commonly referred to as K2. 

When Officers arrived they encountered Maurice Barr M/31 2500 blk. Helena Rd. East Hempfield Twp. Investigators from SEU already had Criminal Charges prepared against Barr for Delivery and Criminal Conspiracy (Delivery) of Synthetic Cannabinoids. Barr was taken into custody on those charges.

Other Officers served the search warrant at the target residence. Officers found Michelle Peters F/50 and Michael Reynolds M/35 inside the apartment. Officers located approximately 1.25 lbs. of synthetic cannabinoids packaged for sale, as well as small amounts of cocaine and marijuana. 

All (3) defendants were taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster Bureau of Police station. All (3) were processed on their complaints and held for arraignment.

Charged with Delivery (Synthetic Cannabinoids) (F) and Criminal Conspiracy- Delivery of Synthetic Cannabinoids (F)

Committed to LCP in lieu of $75,000 bail. 

Michelle Peters F/50 500 blk. E. King St. Lancaster City, PA

Charged with (2) Counts Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (F), Possession of Cocaine (M), Possession Small Amount Marijuana (M), Possession Drug Paraphernalia (M). 

Committed to LCP in lieu of $250,000 bail. 

Michael Reynolds M/35 300 blk. E. King St. Lancaster City, PA

Charged with (2) Counts Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (F) and Possession Drug Paraphernalia (M)

Committed to LCP in lieu of $250,000 bail. 

All persons accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
