OCCURRED BETWEEN 09/25/2019 2200HRS AND 09/25/2019 2219HRS

Reporting person / victim was walking north on the east side of S Queen St near Dominion’s Pizza when he was approached by two Hispanic males approximately 5’6”-5’8” one wearing black hoody and other orange hoody. One suspect displayed a handgun. Victim sustained a swollen lip. Suspects fled heading north on S Queen St and got into a Gray of Silver Honda Accord.

On the above date and time, it was reported that a juvenile male subject selected a man’s MSX Hoody, white in color, sweatshirt and exited the store wearing the sweatshirt. Juvenile cited for Retail Theft.

Reporting person/victim stated that she had parked her vehicle (2012 Hyundai Sonata) in the city lot near Milburn Park of the 200 block of Juniata St. at approximately 2200 hours on 25 Sept 19. Victim stated that she realized the plate was missing at 0610 hours on 26 Sept 19.

On the above listed date between the listed times an unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s bike which was secured to a bike rack behind his home. The cable that secured the bike to the rack had been cut and was laying on the ground.

On the above listed date and time the victim was sitting in her car when a female suspect asked for a cigarette and a lighter.  The victim only had a lighter and was going to give the suspect money to buy a cigarette when the suspect grabbed money from the victim’s wallet and fled.

Reporting person/victim when he returned home from work approximately 1730 hrs. on 09/27/2019 he noticed his window screen was out. He immediately check for his firearms and found that his firearm and loaded 10 round magazine was missing from his nightstand.

An unknown male within the electronics section was observed selecting a Nest Learning Thermostat, used a magnetic device from his pants to remove the theft detection/security device. The male was identified as Dominick Capone 27 years of age, homeless and admitted that he used the magnetic device to remove the theft detection/security device. Dominick Capone was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Retail or Library Theft Instrument and Retail Theft.

OCCURRED BETWEEN 09/29/2019 AT 1630 HRS AND 09/30/2019 AT 0730 HRS

Officer responded to a report of theft from vehicle on 09/30/2019 at approximately 0748 hours.  The reporting person / victim stated his wallet was taken from his unlocked vehicle’s center console between the listed dates and times, while the vehicle was parked at the listed location.  Officer received a phone call later that day from the victim stating his driver’s license was returned to him by an unknown construction worker who stated he found the license in the street in the area of N Plum St.

Officer responded to the listed location for a report of theft.  Reporting person stated she observed someone taking a book bag off a male on 09/30/2019 at approximately 2109 hours.  The suspect was a black, male wearing a black and white sweatshirt and pants. Reporting person later found the book bag in her trash bin and called the police.  The reporting person discovered a female’s id in the book bag and called the female victim.  The female victim came to the listed location to pick up the book bag.  Victim stated to the Officer she had left her book bag inside her sister’s unlocked car, which was parked at the 100 block of Crystal St.  Victim stated cash and a debit card were missing from her book bag.

Reporting person / victim came to the Lancaster City Police Department lobby on 09/30/2019 at approximately 1601 hours to report a theft from vehicle.  The reporting person / victim stated his work cell phone was taken from his unlocked vehicle’s center console between the listed dates and times, while the vehicle was parked at the listed location.

Reporting person stated that on the above listed date and time an unknown black male, 30’s, tall, thin build, wearing a black in color hooded sweatshirt with a white baseball hat attempted to enter his residence.  The male did cut the screen from his first floor window in his attempt to enter the residence.  When the reporting person shouted at him, the male fled towards South West End Avenue.

NOI stated the Victim was assaulted by his ex and unidentified male.  NOI stated that the Ex was dropping off their children to his residence and was not home at the time.  NOI stated that his new girlfriend was at his residence and did confront the Ex since she was making the children wait onside while it was cold.  NOI stated that the Ex and unidentified male attacked the Victim, which resulted in the Victim having a black right eye, a large bump on her forehead and small bruise on her right forearm.  Ongoing Investigation.

Victim stated that between the listed times she had cash stolen from her purse.  She stated that she has let a female stay at her residence until said female finds her own place to live.  Victim stated she had the cash in her purse while she took a shower and left the female watching her son.  Victim stated when she was done with her shower, the female was gone.  Victim stated all of the females belongings were removed from the location.  Ongoing Investigation.

It was not until later they realized they were missing items and the described female was gone and could not be located.
