Update: Arrest made in first shooting incident

Update: Incident 1, 22080033380, Arrest Made

Since the date of the incident, Detectives and Officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police have been working tirelessly to identify all involved persons. The tenacious work of Detective Timothy Sinnott and his peers has led to the arrest of Israel Ramos, an adult male from Columbia, PA. Detective Sinnott obtained a warrant for Ramos' arrest and he was subsequently located and arrested today, 2 September 2022. Ramos was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault (F1), three counts of Criminal Conspiracy-Aggravated Assault (F1), six counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2), three counts of Criminal Mischief (M3), two counts of Propulsion of Missiles into an Occupied Vehicle (M1), one count of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence (M1), and one count of False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities (M3) before the honorable District Justice Jodie Richardson. 

This investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with additional information regarding the shooting that occurred on 29 August 2022 at around 3:15 pm on the 200 block of S. Ann St. is urged to call the Lancaster City Bureau of Police at 717 735-3301 and ask for a working Detective or Officer. 

All persons accused of committing a crime are presumed innocent. 

Incident 1:

On August 29, 2022, at approximately 1515hrs. Officers from the Lancaster City Bureau were dispatched to the 200 block of S Ann St. for a report of a shooting. Officers located an adult male shooting victim, a Lancaster City Resident.  The victim was immediately provided medical treatment and transported to a local medical facility with non-life threatening injuries.

Incident 2:

On August 29, 2022, at approximately 1804hrs. Officers from the Lancaster City Bureau were dispatched to the area of S Ann St. and Chesapeake St. for a report of shots fired in the area. Officers were notified a short time later that an an adult male shooting victim, a Lancaster City Resident, was dropped off at a local medical facility with non-life threatening injuries.

Incident 3:

On August 30, 2022, at approximately 2152hrs. Officers from the Lancaster City Bureau were dispatched to the intersection of 2nd St. and Pearl St. for a report of a shooting. Officers located an adult female shooting victim, a Lancaster City Resident.  The victim was immediately provided medical treatment and transported to a local medical facility with non-life threatening injuries.

Members of the Lancaster City Bureau of Police are actively investigating these shooting incidents.   Investigators are actively seeking anyone who had witnessed the shooting incidents or has knowledge of what happened.  Anyone with information regarding this shooting incidents is urged to call the Lancaster City Bureau of Police at (717) 735-3300 or Lancaster City-County Crimes Stoppers at 1-800-322-1913.  You can also click the Submit a Tip button on our website, www.lancasterpolice.com or Text a Tip to Crime Stoppers by Texting LANCS plus your message to 847411.  Tipsters may remain anonymous and do not have to give their names.
