Theft of Credit Cards & Access Device Fraud 9.4.2016



On Sunday September 4, 2016 at approximately 4:00pm a customer at Home Goods had a wallet stolen during a distraction ruse. (4) females suspects worked together to commit the theft. One suspect spoke to the victim while the others stole the wallet from a purse in a shopping cart. The victim described that the suspect that spoke had some type of unknown accent.

The suspects then used then victim's credit cards to make fraudulent purchases at Best Buy (Hempstead Rd) and Kohl's (Lincoln Hwy East). The total amount of fraudulent purchases was in excess of $1,500.00 The purchases were made before the victim was able to cancel the cards through the respective banks.

Surveillance video from Kohl's captured images of the suspects. The images are attached in this narrative. The suspects all appear to be white females in their late teens to twenties. All have long brown or black hair.
