On Friday 22 June 2018 at approximately 0054 hrs. Officers from Lancaster City Police Platoon B responded to the 300 blk. W. Marion St. for reports of shots fired. A caller to 911 reported hearing approximately (3) shots in rapid succession and then heard someone yelling.
When Officers arrived they located a (22) year old male resident of Lancaster on the ground on the 100 blk. N. Concord St. The male appeared to have been shot at least one time in each leg. The male was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening and he is expected to be released from the hospital at some point today.
Officers secured the area as a crime scene. Detectives responded to the scene and the hospital to assist with the investigation. A canvas of the area was conducted to look for evidence, witnesses and possible video evidence.
As of the time of this release, no arrests have been made. Additional follow up investigations are being conducted by Detectives working today despite of a lack of cooperation from the victim.
